These recommendations have been developed by Offshore Norge's Maritime Network and apply to guard vessels for guard duties outside the safety zones of offshore installations and drilling units.
In July 2011 the Offshore Norge Maritime Network consisted of the following companies: BP, ConocoPhillips, Esso, GDF Suez, Marathon, Shell, Statoil, Talisman and Total.
