Sharing to be better #1, Well control incident in 9,5 inch section

The first of a series of case histories on well incidents has now been circulated to all installations. This incident highlights the need to be focused on the well at all times, even when there are multiple other events occurring at the same time.

The incident was published October 2010. Presentation of the incident is attached both in Norwegian and English.

The key message is to focus on what can be learnt from such events. It is hoped that sharing of such incidents will be helpful in our efforts to avoid or reduce the likelihood and severity of well incidents. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated by the task force.
