Sharing to be better #12, Swabbed kick from shallow reservoir

The incident highlights the importance of surge/swap calculations when tripping in cased hole, low pressure margins in shallow reservoirs and small margins when circulating out an influx with a shallow casing shoe.

The key message is to focus on what can be learnt from these events. It is hoped that sharing lessons will be helpful in our efforts to avoid or reduce the likelihood and severity of well incidents. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated by the task force.
