Sharing to be better #4, Gas influx from shale

This incident highlights the importance of taking time to properly assess changing well conditions and to consider fully the consequences before acting.

The incident was published October 2011. Presentation of the incident is attached both in Norwegian and English.

The key message is to focus on what can be learnt from such events. It is hoped that sharing of such incidents will be helpful in our efforts to avoid or reduce the likelihood and severity of well incidents. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated by the task force.
