Sharing to be better #8, Incident – Drilling of reservoir section

The incident highlights the importance of specific focus on volume control when experiencing a “drilling break”.

The incident was published August 2013. Presentation of the incident is attached both in Norwegian and English.

The key message is to focus on what can be learnt from such events. It is hoped that sharing of such incidents will be helpful in our efforts to avoid or reduce the likelihood and severity of well incidents. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated by the task force.
