Offshore Norway is negotiating with the trade union Styrke on the Oil Service Agreement, and with the Norwegian Union of Energy Workers (Safe) on the Well Services Agreement. The agreements are identical, and negotiations will take place on Monday 11 May and Tuesday 12 May.
“We look forward to constructive negotiations, and hope to reach a solution in line with the lead sector model. This is important to ensure the long-term competitiveness of the industry,” says Elisabeth Brattebø Fenne, Director of Industrial Relations and Chief Negotiator at Offshore Norway.
Approximately 7.200 employees are covered by the two oil service agreements subject to negotiations. These employees work in the following supplier companies:
