Agreement reached in mediation for supply bases

In the early hours of Thursday 25 June, Offshore Norge and the trade union Styrke reached an agreement on a new collective agreement for around 875 employees at onshore supply bases along the Norwegian coast.

Just over an hour after midnight, the parties concluded mediation at the National Mediator and reached agreement in the pay talks for the Supply Base Agreement.

“This has been a demanding round of mediation, but we are pleased to have reached a new collective agreement,” says chief negotiator Silje Tufto at Offshore Norge.

Among other things, the parties agreed to increases in minimum pay rates and certain adjustments to the technical provisions of the agreement.

The Supply Base Agreement is a minimum pay agreement, with wages further negotiated locally at company level. Most of the approximately 875 employees covered by the agreement are members of Styrke, while a small number are organised through Parat. The employees work in the following companies:

KCA Deutag Drilling Norge, ASCO Norge AS, CCB AS, CCB Mongstad AS, Helgelandsbase AS, NorSea Group AS, NorSea Property AS, NorSea Logistics AS, NorSea Polarbase AS, Saga Fjordbase AS and Kristiansund Base AS.
