Offshore wind and the environment

We must secure the necessary knowledge to ensure the smallest possible environmental footprint from the offshore wind industry.

The establishment of offshore wind farms on the Norwegian continental shelf will affect the environment both through the development and operational phases. The offshore wind industry must therefore ensure the necessary knowledge of areas where offshore wind farms are to be established, and work for the smallest possible environmental footprint throughout the development and operation phase.

You can soon register for the offshore wind and environment seminar on 5 November 2024.
